During his interview with CNN, Alareer called on the international community to see the “humanity” in Palestinian people, adding: “Feel their pain. Put yourself in their shoes.”

Separately, Dr. Munir Al-Bursh, the director general of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, told CNN that the Al Awda hospital in northern Gaza has been under siege for many days.
"The hospital has no water, no food, no fuel. I make an appeal to lift this siege and bring in water and fuel," he said. CNN has asked the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for comment.
