Catalonia, Costa-Brava - Paraglider start place Castell de Montgri

General description:

The lauch site at Castell de Montgrí is located on Costa Brava in Catalonie, about 5km from the mediterranean cost.

It offer the possibility to start with a paraglider in almost every wind direction.

As one of the highest points in the area, this mountain has an impressive view of the Pyrenees, as well as the surrounding area.

Due to the surrounding mountains (Montplà, Puig Rodó, Puig de Carroig), in particular the valley Vall Petita, which is situated to the northwest, and also the slipstream of the castle ruin of the castle, there can be more or less strong wind turbulences at the starting point.
